GMAT Club – AI—SEO
Problem:
the audience searched in generative assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity), and the GMAT Club website was configured for classic search – a lot of useful content, but it was not provided by LLM in a form convenient for quoting. Bottom line: The AI referred to other people’s sources instead of the official resource.
Solution:
– we listened to real user requests in chat rooms
– we built topics around specific projects and scenarios.
– created scalable, quotable pages with a clear, short answer at the top and a detailed justification below.
– structured HTML and markup (semantics, schema) so that LLM could extract and quote content.
– focused on popular MBA/GMAT audience issues, focusing on trust and links.
The result:
in 6 months, GMAT Club increased traffic from AI platforms by ~2.6x: ChatGPT gave +199%, total AI sessions +161% – not magic, but a systemic restructuring of content for LLM and the «answer-first» format.
